100% Research-Based | EQF Level 7 | 60 ECTS | Second European Cycle
The Master in International Economic and Tourism Law is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare professionals for strategic roles in global economic governance, international trade regulation, and tourism-related legal frameworks. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and awards 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced expertise in international economic law, cross-border trade systems, tourism regulation, investment frameworks, sustainable tourism policy, and global compliance standards. Through a strong research orientation, students critically examine international agreements, economic integration systems, tourism legislation, regulatory environments, and dispute resolution mechanisms within global markets. The academic framework ensures that graduates can provide evidence-based legal and policy analysis in complex international economic and tourism contexts.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced legal research methodology, comparative legal analysis, qualitative and quantitative research techniques, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic leadership, corporate governance, and global economic environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on international economic law, tourism legislation, regulatory compliance, trade agreements, and sustainable tourism governance.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as international trade agreements, tourism investment regulation, economic dispute resolution, sustainable tourism law, digital economy governance, or cross-border tourism policy frameworks. The final research project demonstrates analytical rigor, legal reasoning competence, and strategic insight into international economic and tourism systems.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for legal advisors, tourism policy specialists, compliance professionals, international trade consultants, and government officials seeking advanced academic qualifications while continuing their careers.
Graduates are prepared for senior roles in international legal practice, tourism regulatory bodies, economic policy institutions, multinational corporations, trade organizations, and global governance agencies.
