Because of this unwavering commitment to educational excellence, SIU does not grant any degrees based solely on professional experience, CV submissions, or VAE (Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience).
Degrees Must Be Earned, Not Exchanged It is strictly against our university policy to issue a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in exchange for a portfolio of previous work. You cannot simply submit your files and receive a diploma in return. As a top-ranked international institution, we ensure that the value of an SIU degree is recognized and respected worldwide.
To uphold this prestige, every degree awarded by SIU must be rigorously earned through:

Formal enrollment in a structured academic program.

Active participation in coursework and academic research.

The successful completion of all required exams, assignments, or thesis defenses.
Valuing Your Experience While we do not offer "degrees by experience," we deeply respect the professional backgrounds of our executive students. Through our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process, significant professional experience or prior certifications may allow you to transfer specific course credits. However, all students must still actively enroll, study, and complete a formal academic program to graduate.
