This Master study program is designed for professionals who aim to develop advanced expertise in finance with a strong focus on sustainability, responsible investment, and measurable social and environmental impact. The program explores how financial systems are evolving to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, sustainable capital allocation, and impact-driven investment strategies. Participants gain the knowledge to assess financial performance alongside long-term societal value, aligning profitability with sustainability goals in a rapidly transforming global economy.
This is a 100% research-based program, enabling participants to critically examine financial models, policies, and investment frameworks while developing evidence-based strategies for sustainable growth. The study level is equivalent to ISCED Level 7 and EQF Level 7. The International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) is a global framework used to classify education levels across countries, while the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) defines learning outcomes based on knowledge, skills, and competencies. Level 7 represents advanced, specialized knowledge and strategic decision-making capabilities typically associated with master-level education.
The program is structured into five modules: two research-focused modules that build strong academic and analytical competencies, two general modules that provide comprehensive management and financial knowledge, and one specialized module dedicated to sustainable finance and impact investing. These are complemented by thesis and research activities, allowing participants to apply theoretical frameworks to real-world financial and sustainability challenges.
The duration of the program is a minimum of 12 months, with flexibility for participants to extend their study period according to their professional and personal commitments. The program carries 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), aligning it with the second cycle of higher education in Europe.
