This doctorate study program is an advanced, fully research-based academic pathway designed for experienced scholars, educators, and language professionals who aim to contribute original knowledge to the field of multilingual studies. The academic structure consists of seven modules:
Four research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, qualitative and quantitative analysis, academic publishing strategies, and the development of original scholarly contribution.
Two general modules aimed at strengthening theoretical depth, interdisciplinary thinking, and high-level analytical competence.
One specialized module in Language Studies with English and German, concentrating on advanced linguistics, sociolinguistics, comparative grammar, translation theory, intercultural discourse, and language policy within English- and German-speaking contexts.
In addition to the module framework, the program includes a comprehensive thesis and structured research activities that allow candidates to produce substantial and original academic work in areas such as applied linguistics, bilingual education, multilingual communication, literary and cultural studies, discourse research, or international language policy.
