This doctorate study program is designed for scholars, academics, and professionals who seek to advance original research in the fields of History and French at the highest academic level. Structured as a 100% research-based program, it is academically positioned at a level equal to EQF Level 8 and corresponds to the third European cycle. The program is designed with a minimum duration of +18 months, while offering flexibility for candidates who may wish to extend their research timeline in line with the depth and scope of their scholarly work.
The academic structure consists of seven modules:
Four research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, academic publishing standards, research design, and critical theoretical frameworks.
Two general modules aimed at strengthening interdisciplinary perspectives, scholarly communication, and academic leadership competencies.
One specialized module in History and French that deepens expertise in historiography, comparative historical analysis, French literature and discourse studies, and Francophone cultural dynamics.
The program culminates in the development of a substantial thesis and structured research activities that demonstrate independent scholarly contribution, analytical originality, and methodological rigor within the field of History and French studies.
