The Master in Sustainability and Environmental Management is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare professionals for strategic leadership roles in sustainable development, environmental governance, and corporate sustainability management. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and awards 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced expertise in environmental policy, climate change strategy, sustainable resource management, environmental impact assessment, ESG frameworks, circular economy models, renewable energy governance, and sustainability reporting systems. Through a strong research orientation, students critically analyze global environmental challenges, green innovation ecosystems, regulatory compliance standards, environmental risk management, and sustainable business transformation. The academic framework ensures that graduates can design evidence-based sustainability strategies that balance economic performance with environmental responsibility and social impact.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, environmental data analysis, qualitative and quantitative sustainability research, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic leadership, corporate governance, innovation management, and global environmental policy environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on sustainability strategy, environmental management systems, climate governance, circular economy implementation, and sustainable development frameworks.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as carbon neutrality strategies, ESG performance measurement, environmental risk governance, green finance, renewable energy policy, sustainable urban development, or climate resilience planning. The final research project demonstrates analytical depth, environmental expertise, and strategic leadership in sustainability-driven systems.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for sustainability managers, environmental consultants, ESG analysts, policy advisors, corporate responsibility leaders, and environmental strategists seeking advanced academic qualifications while continuing their careers.
Graduates are prepared for senior roles in sustainability leadership, environmental policy advisory, ESG governance, corporate sustainability management, climate strategy consulting, and international environmental organizations.
