This Master study program is an advanced, 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals and graduates who are committed to shaping a more sustainable, responsible, and future-oriented world. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the Second Cycle of the European Higher Education Area, the program carries an academic workload equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.

The Master in Sustainability provides a rigorous and structured academic environment where students critically examine environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainable development. The program is built to develop analytical, strategic, and research competencies required to address complex global challenges such as climate change, responsible resource management, sustainable finance, corporate responsibility, circular economy, and sustainable innovation.

The academic structure consists of five modules, carefully designed to ensure methodological depth and subject-matter expertise:

  • Two research-focused modules that strengthen advanced research design, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and academic writing.

  • Two general modules that enhance strategic thinking, policy analysis, governance frameworks, and interdisciplinary problem-solving.

  • One specialized module in Sustainability, focusing on sustainable development strategies, ESG frameworks, environmental policy, sustainable business models, and global sustainability standards.

The program culminates in a substantial independent research project supported by structured research activities, enabling students to contribute original insights to sustainability discourse and practice.

With a minimum duration of 12 months, the Master in Sustainability offers flexibility, allowing participants to extend their study period where necessary to balance academic, professional, and personal commitments.

This program is particularly suitable for professionals in business, public policy, environmental management, NGOs, consulting, finance, and innovation sectors who aim to integrate sustainability into strategic decision-making and long-term organizational transformation.

By combining academic rigor, interdisciplinary analysis, and applied research, the Master in Sustainability empowers graduates to become responsible leaders, policy shapers, and sustainability strategists in an increasingly complex global environment.
