This Master study program is a 100% research-based postgraduate program designed for urban planners, engineers, policymakers, architects, sustainability experts, and researchers who aim to develop advanced expertise in smart city systems and urban innovation strategies.
The program integrates urban planning with digital technologies, sustainable infrastructure, data-driven governance, mobility systems, environmental innovation, and resilient city development. It prepares participants to design, evaluate, and optimize smart urban ecosystems that enhance quality of life, economic competitiveness, environmental sustainability, and technological integration within modern cities.

Program Structure
The program consists of five academic modules, in addition to thesis and structured research activities:
2 Research-Focused Modules Covering advanced research methodology, urban data analytics, policy research design, impact assessment, academic writing, and evidence-based innovation strategies.
2 General Academic Modules Addressing sustainable development, governance and public policy, environmental management, digital transformation, economic systems in cities, and global urban regulatory frameworks.
1 Specialized Smart Cities and Urban Innovation Module Focused on intelligent transportation systems, IoT-enabled infrastructure, urban resilience, green architecture, energy-efficient systems, digital public services, and smart governance models.
Thesis and Research Activities Participants conduct an independent research project contributing to smart infrastructure optimization, sustainable urban mobility, digital governance models, climate-resilient city planning, or innovation ecosystems in metropolitan environments.
