Master in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies

This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals and graduates who aim to advance innovation in renewable energy systems and sustainable technological solutions. Positioned at a level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second European cycle, the program carries an academic workload equivalent to 60 ECTS.

The Master in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies integrates scientific research, engineering principles, and strategic sustainability frameworks to address global energy transition challenges. The program equips participants with advanced analytical tools to evaluate renewable energy systems, optimize resource efficiency, assess environmental impact, and develop innovative technologies that support sustainable development goals.

The academic structure consists of five modules, including:

  • Two research-oriented modules dedicated to advanced research methodologies, data analysis, environmental modeling, academic writing, and critical evaluation in renewable energy and sustainability research.

  • Two general academic modules focusing on strategic management, innovation systems, environmental governance, sustainable policy frameworks, and leadership in technology-driven sectors.

  • One specialized module in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies, concentrating on solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy systems, smart grids, energy storage solutions, green technologies, sustainable infrastructure design, carbon management strategies, and emerging clean energy innovations.

The program concludes with a thesis and structured research activities, enabling participants to produce original research contributions addressing contemporary energy and sustainability challenges.

With a minimum duration of 12 months, the program offers structured academic progression combined with flexibility, allowing students to extend their study period in accordance with research development and professional commitments.

This Master study program is designed for engineers, sustainability consultants, environmental analysts, policy advisors, energy managers, and technology innovators who seek to enhance their research and strategic capabilities in renewable energy and sustainable technology sectors.
