This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals who aim to understand, analyze, and shape health systems through economic evaluation and policy development. The Master in Public Health – Health Economics and Policy is academically positioned at a level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second cycle of the European Higher Education framework, equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.
Modern healthcare systems face increasing pressure from rising costs, aging populations, technological innovation, global health emergencies, and inequality in access to care. The program culminates in a thesis and structured research activities, where participants conduct in-depth research on a contemporary issue in health economics or health policy. Through this research-driven approach, candidates demonstrate analytical capacity, policy insight, and the ability to generate practical recommendations that contribute to more effective health systems.
With a minimum duration of 12 months and flexibility for extension, the program is structured to support working professionals, including health administrators, policy advisors, economists, public health practitioners, NGO managers, consultants, and government officials.
