This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals and graduates seeking to deepen their expertise in public health systems, health promotion, and global wellbeing strategies. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second European cycle, the program emphasizes analytical thinking, policy development, and evidence-based health interventions in diverse local and international contexts.

With a structure equivalent to 60 ECTS and a minimum duration of 12 months (with flexibility for extension), the program is tailored for learners who aim to combine academic rigor with practical impact. It is particularly suitable for healthcare professionals, policy analysts, NGO leaders, educators, and public sector specialists seeking advanced research competence in public health and wellbeing.

The program consists of five modules, carefully designed to balance theory, research, and applied knowledge:

  • Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and academic writing.

  • Two general modules covering interdisciplinary perspectives such as ethics, governance, sustainability, and global health systems.

  • One specialized module in Public Health and Wellbeing, focusing on epidemiology, health promotion strategies, mental health awareness, preventive medicine, community health development, and public policy design.

  • A final phase dedicated to thesis and structured research activities, allowing candidates to contribute original knowledge to the field.

Through its research-intensive format, participants develop strong competencies in designing public health studies, evaluating health programs, analyzing policy effectiveness, and proposing innovative wellbeing strategies. The program promotes critical engagement with global health challenges including health equity, chronic disease prevention, mental health resilience, environmental health, and digital health transformation.

Graduates of this Master study program are equipped to pursue leadership roles in governmental health authorities, international organizations, research institutions, healthcare management bodies, and community health initiatives, as well as to continue toward doctoral-level research.
