The Master in Project and Operations Management is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare professionals for strategic leadership roles in project execution, operational excellence, and organizational performance management. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and carries 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced analytical and managerial competencies required to lead complex projects, optimize operational systems, and drive continuous improvement in dynamic business environments. Through a strong research orientation, students gain the ability to evaluate project methodologies, assess operational risks, analyze performance metrics, and design evidence-based management solutions grounded in academic research and practical application.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, quantitative and qualitative analysis, project analytics, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic leadership, organizational management, and global business environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on project management frameworks, operations strategy, supply chain coordination, and performance optimization.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, allowing students to conduct independent research on contemporary challenges such as project governance, operational efficiency, risk management, process improvement, or digital transformation in operations. The final research project demonstrates methodological rigor, strategic thinking, and professional-level management insight.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility for students to extend their study period according to their professional and academic needs. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for working professionals seeking advanced qualifications without interrupting their careers.
Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in project management, operations management, supply chain leadership, process improvement, consulting, and performance management across diverse industries.
