This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for graduates and professionals who aim to develop advanced expertise in Environmental Science within the broader field of Natural Sciences. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second European cycle, the program emphasizes scientific investigation, environmental analysis, and evidence-based solutions to contemporary ecological challenges.
With an academic workload equal to 60 ECTS, the program is structured to combine research excellence with environmental specialization. It consists of five modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research design, environmental data analysis, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and scientific reporting.
Two general academic modules that strengthen critical thinking, interdisciplinary integration, academic writing, and global environmental perspectives.
One specialized module in Environmental Science, focusing on areas such as climate systems, sustainability, biodiversity, environmental policy, ecological risk assessment, and natural resource management.
The program culminates in an independent research thesis and structured research activities, enabling candidates to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and contribute meaningful insights to environmental science and sustainable development practices.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility allowing students to extend their study period according to research progress and professional commitments.
