This Master study program in Marketing and Consumer Psychology is a research-based program designed for learners who want to understand how consumers think, feel, decide, and respond to brands, products, services, and communication strategies. The program connects modern marketing knowledge with consumer behavior, psychology, research methods, and evidence-based decision-making.

The study program is 100% research based, meaning that students are expected to engage deeply with academic literature, applied research, critical analysis, and independent study. Instead of focusing only on practical marketing tools, the program helps learners build strong analytical skills and understand the psychological foundations behind consumer choices, brand loyalty, purchasing behavior, digital engagement, and market perception.

The program includes five modules, structured to support both academic development and subject specialization. It contains two research-related modules, which help students develop research design, academic writing, data interpretation, and critical inquiry skills. It also includes two general modules, which provide broader knowledge relevant to management, communication, and international business contexts. In addition, there is one specialized module focused directly on Marketing and Consumer Psychology, allowing students to explore the main study field in depth.

The program also includes a thesis and research activities, where students apply their knowledge to a focused topic related to marketing, consumer psychology, consumer behavior, branding, digital marketing, advertising, or market research. This helps students demonstrate their ability to work independently, use academic sources, and produce structured research-based work.

The study level is equal to ISCED / EQF Level 7. ISCED means the International Standard Classification of Education, used globally to compare education levels. EQF means the European Qualifications Framework, used in Europe to describe learning levels based on knowledge, skills, and responsibility. Level 7 usually refers to advanced master-level learning.

This Master study program is equal to the second European cycle and is equivalent to 60 ECTS. The ECTS system is the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, used to measure student workload and learning achievement across European higher education.

The duration is 12+ months. Students can complete the program within the minimum study period, while also having flexibility to extend their studies according to their personal, academic, or professional situation.

This program is suitable for learners interested in marketing, consumer behavior, branding, advertising, communication, digital markets, business psychology, customer experience, and research-based decision-making.
