The Master in Luxury Fashion & Haute Couture Design is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare creative leaders for strategic roles in luxury fashion houses, haute couture ateliers, and global fashion innovation environments. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and awards 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced expertise in haute couture design techniques, luxury brand aesthetics, fashion innovation strategy, textile experimentation, craftsmanship excellence, fashion entrepreneurship, and global luxury market dynamics. Through a strong research orientation, students critically analyze luxury consumer behavior, heritage branding, sustainable luxury practices, couture construction methods, fashion technology integration, and evolving global fashion ecosystems. The academic framework ensures that graduates can create conceptually refined, technically exceptional, and market-relevant luxury fashion collections.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, fashion theory analysis, luxury market research, creative concept development, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering creative leadership, luxury brand management, global fashion business strategy, and innovation management.
One specialization module focused specifically on haute couture techniques, advanced garment construction, textile innovation, luxury design development, and collection presentation strategy.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as sustainable haute couture, luxury brand heritage strategy, digital fashion innovation, AI-assisted fashion design, couture craftsmanship evolution, or global luxury market expansion. The final research project demonstrates artistic originality, technical mastery, and strategic positioning within the luxury fashion industry.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for fashion designers, creative directors, luxury brand strategists, couture specialists, fashion entrepreneurs, and innovation leaders seeking advanced academic qualifications while continuing their professional careers.
Graduates are prepared for senior roles in luxury fashion houses, haute couture studios, global fashion brands, fashion innovation labs, luxury retail strategy divisions, and international creative enterprises.
