This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for graduates and professionals who seek advanced expertise in Language Studies with a specialization in French and German. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the Second European Cycle, the program emphasizes analytical thinking, independent research, and advanced academic writing within multilingual and intercultural European contexts.
The academic structure consists of five integrated modules: two research-focused modules that develop advanced research methodology, academic inquiry, and data analysis skills; two general modules that strengthen interdisciplinary knowledge and critical perspectives; and one specialized module dedicated to Language Studies with French and German, covering comparative linguistics, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, translation studies, and cross-cultural communication within Francophone and German-speaking environments.
In addition, students complete a substantial thesis and research activities that demonstrate their ability to conduct independent scholarly work at an advanced academic level.
