This Master study program is an advanced academic pathway designed for graduates and professionals who aim to deepen their expertise in multilingual communication, linguistic research, and intercultural studies, with a strong focus on English and Russian. It is a 100% research-based program that develops analytical competence, academic writing skills, and independent scholarly capability within international linguistic environments.
Positioned at a level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second European cycle, the program carries a workload equal to 60 ECTS. It is structured in accordance with European higher education standards while maintaining flexibility suitable for working professionals and international participants.
The academic framework consists of five modules:
Two research-focused modules that strengthen advanced research methodology, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and academic publication skills.
Two general modules aimed at enhancing theoretical foundations, interdisciplinary awareness, and critical thinking.
One specialized module in Language Studies with English and Russian, focusing on advanced linguistics, comparative grammar, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, translation theory, and intercultural communication between English- and Russian-speaking contexts.
In addition to the structured modules, the program includes a thesis and organized research activities that allow participants to conduct independent research in areas such as applied linguistics, bilingual communication, translation studies, language policy, literary and cultural analysis, or multilingual education.
The minimum duration of the program is 12 months, with flexibility for learners to extend the study period according to the scope of their research and professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for educators, translators, international communication specialists, cultural advisors, and professionals preparing for further doctoral-level research.
