This Master study program is an advanced academic pathway designed for graduates and professionals who wish to deepen their expertise in linguistics, language theory, and applied language research. The program is 100% research based and positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7, corresponding to the second European cycle. With an academic workload equal to 60 ECTS, it aligns with European higher education standards and supports both academic progression and professional development.
The academic structure consists of five modules: two research-related modules that focus on advanced research methodology, academic writing, and analytical techniques; two general modules that enhance interdisciplinary thinking, critical analysis, and scholarly communication; and one specialized module dedicated specifically to Language Studies. The program also includes thesis and research activities, enabling participants to conduct independent research and produce substantial academic work in alignment with international standards.
This Master study program encourages advanced exploration of topics such as theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, language acquisition, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, multilingualism, translation studies, and language policy.
