100% Research-Based | EQF Level 7 | 60 ECTS | Second European Cycle
The Master in International Business and Commercial Law is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare professionals for strategic roles at the intersection of global commerce, corporate governance, and international legal systems. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and awards 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced expertise in international trade law, cross-border commercial transactions, corporate regulation, contract law, compliance frameworks, dispute resolution, and global business governance. Through a strong research orientation, students critically examine international legal systems, regulatory environments, arbitration mechanisms, multinational corporate structures, and the legal dimensions of global economic integration. The academic framework ensures that graduates can provide evidence-based legal analysis and strategic guidance in complex international business environments.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced legal research methodology, comparative legal analysis, qualitative and quantitative research techniques, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic leadership, corporate governance, and global business environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on international commercial law, cross-border contracts, trade regulations, international arbitration, and compliance management.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as international trade agreements, corporate compliance systems, global dispute resolution mechanisms, digital commerce regulation, or investment law frameworks. The final research project demonstrates analytical rigor, legal reasoning competence, and strategic insight into international commercial practice.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for legal advisors, corporate consultants, compliance officers, policy professionals, and business executives seeking advanced academic qualifications while continuing their careers.
Graduates are prepared for senior roles in international law firms, multinational corporations, trade organizations, compliance departments, arbitration institutions, and global regulatory bodies.
