The Master in Institutional and Educational Leadership is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare leaders for strategic roles in educational institutions, academic administration, and institutional governance. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and awards 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced competencies in educational leadership, institutional strategy, academic quality management, policy development, organizational governance, and change management within educational environments. Through a strong research orientation, students critically analyze educational systems, leadership models, curriculum innovation, quality assurance frameworks, and institutional transformation strategies. The academic focus ensures that graduates can design evidence-based leadership strategies that enhance institutional performance and academic excellence.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, qualitative and quantitative educational research, institutional analysis, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic leadership, corporate governance, and global organizational environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on educational leadership, institutional development, academic policy, and quality enhancement strategies.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as educational reform, institutional accreditation systems, leadership in higher education, digital transformation in learning environments, or governance models in educational institutions. The final research project demonstrates analytical depth, strategic vision, and professional-level leadership competence.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to professional commitments.
