The Master in Hospital and Healthcare Management is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare professionals for strategic leadership roles in hospitals, healthcare institutions, and public health systems. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and awards 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced competencies in healthcare administration, hospital operations management, health policy, medical ethics governance, quality improvement systems, and strategic healthcare planning. Through a strong research orientation, students critically analyze healthcare systems, hospital performance indicators, patient experience models, healthcare economics, digital health transformation, and regulatory frameworks. The academic structure ensures that graduates can design evidence-based healthcare strategies that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, healthcare data analysis, quantitative and qualitative research techniques, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic leadership, corporate governance, and global organizational environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on hospital administration, healthcare systems management, patient safety, quality assurance, and healthcare innovation.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as healthcare system reform, hospital performance optimization, digital health integration, healthcare risk management, patient-centered care models, or public health governance. The final research project demonstrates analytical rigor, strategic insight, and professional-level healthcare leadership competence.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for healthcare managers, hospital administrators, medical directors, policy professionals, and healthcare consultants seeking advanced academic qualifications while continuing their careers.
Graduates are prepared for senior roles in hospital management, healthcare administration, health policy advisory, quality management, healthcare consulting, and international health organizations.
