  • 2 min read

This Master study program in Healthcare Management is designed for learners who want to develop advanced knowledge in healthcare leadership, institutional management, quality improvement, and research-based decision-making. The program follows a 100% research-based study model, allowing students to build academic, analytical, and professional understanding through structured research activities, applied readings, independent study, and a final thesis.

The study level is equal to ISCED / EQF Level 7. ISCED means the International Standard Classification of Education, used worldwide to compare education levels. EQF means the European Qualifications Framework, which helps describe learning levels across Europe. Level 7 normally refers to advanced master-level learning, where students are expected to demonstrate critical thinking, specialized knowledge, and the ability to apply research to complex professional contexts.

The program is structured around 5 modules, including 2 research-related modules, 2 general management modules, and 1 specialized module in Healthcare Management, followed by the thesis and research activities. This structure supports students in understanding both the wider principles of management and the specific challenges of healthcare organizations, including service quality, patient-centered systems, operational planning, healthcare strategy, and institutional improvement.

The program duration is 12+ months. There is a minimum study duration, but students have flexibility to extend their study period according to their academic pace and professional commitments. The program is equal to 60 ECTS and corresponds to the Second European Cycle, reflecting master-level academic workload and learning outcomes.

This Master study program is suitable for healthcare professionals, managers, administrators, and graduates who wish to strengthen their research capacity, improve their understanding of healthcare systems, and develop advanced management skills for hospitals, clinics, public health organizations, medical service providers, and healthcare-related institutions.
