This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for healthcare professionals, administrators, managers, and policymakers seeking advanced expertise in the governance and strategic management of healthcare institutions. Aligned with EQF Level 7 and equivalent to the second European cycle, the program carries an academic workload equal to 60 ECTS credits.

The Master in Healthcare Administration focuses on strengthening analytical, leadership, and research competencies required to manage complex healthcare systems in dynamic national and international environments. Participants develop the ability to evaluate health policies, optimize operational performance, implement quality assurance systems, and lead innovation within hospitals, clinics, public health organizations, and private healthcare providers.

The curriculum is structured into five integrated modules:

  • Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodologies, quantitative and qualitative analysis in healthcare, health data interpretation, and academic writing.

  • Two general academic modules addressing strategic management, healthcare leadership, organizational behavior, ethics in healthcare administration, and health economics.

  • One specialized module in Healthcare Administration concentrating on health systems governance, hospital management, healthcare finance, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and performance measurement.

The program culminates in a comprehensive thesis and structured research activities, enabling participants to produce original scholarly work that contributes to improved healthcare delivery, evidence-based management practices, and policy development.

The minimum duration of the program is 12 months. However, flexibility is provided for candidates who may extend their study period according to professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for working professionals aiming to advance academically while maintaining leadership roles in healthcare environments.

Graduates of this Master study program are prepared for senior positions in hospital administration, health services management, healthcare consultancy, regulatory bodies, and public health institutions, as well as for progression toward doctoral-level research.
