This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals and graduates who aim to advance their expertise in health systems, public health strategies, biomedical research, and evidence-based practice. Structured in alignment with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF Level 7), the program corresponds to the second cycle of European higher education and is academically equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.
The Master in Health Sciences is designed to strengthen analytical thinking, scientific methodology, and interdisciplinary understanding across healthcare environments. It equips participants with the competencies required to evaluate health policies, design research frameworks, interpret epidemiological data, and contribute to innovation in healthcare delivery and management.
The curriculum consists of five structured modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research design, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, biostatistics, academic writing, and publication strategies.
Two general academic modules that enhance strategic thinking, ethics in healthcare, leadership in health organizations, and global health governance.
One specialized module in Health Sciences concentrating on contemporary issues such as health systems performance, preventive medicine, digital health integration, and population health management.
The program culminates in a comprehensive thesis and structured research activities, allowing candidates to develop an original research project that contributes to academic knowledge or professional practice in the health sciences field.
The minimum duration of the program is 12 months. However, flexibility is provided to accommodate professionals who may require an extended study timeline. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for healthcare practitioners, administrators, researchers, and policymakers seeking advanced academic progression while maintaining professional commitments.
Graduates of this Master study program are prepared for leadership roles in healthcare institutions, research centers, public health agencies, NGOs, and international health organizations, as well as for further doctoral-level academic pursuits.
