This Master study program is a specialized, research-driven academic pathway designed for professionals and researchers seeking advanced expertise in the management, strategy, and sustainable development of the global golf industry. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second European cycle, the program provides a rigorous academic framework grounded entirely in research.
The golf sector represents a dynamic intersection of sport management, tourism, hospitality, event organization, facility operations, sustainability, and international business strategy. This 100% research-based program equips participants with analytical tools and theoretical foundations to examine golf club governance, course development, sports marketing strategies, financial performance models, member engagement systems, and global industry trends.
The program consists of five modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to research design, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, industry analytics, data interpretation, and academic writing.
Two general modules that strengthen strategic management, leadership, governance, and global business perspectives.
One specialized module in Golf Management, addressing golf club operations, course sustainability, sports tourism, tournament management, branding and sponsorship strategies, facility planning, and long-term financial sustainability within the golf ecosystem.
The program culminates in a thesis and comprehensive research activities aimed at generating an original contribution to the field of golf management.
With a duration of +12 months (minimum duration), participants benefit from academic flexibility, allowing them to extend their studies when necessary. The academic workload is equivalent to 60 ECTS, ensuring alignment with European higher education standards.
