This Master study program is a 100% research-based postgraduate program designed for scholars, social researchers, policy analysts, educators, and professionals who aim to develop advanced expertise in global cultural dynamics, social transformation, and intercultural relations.

The program explores how globalization, migration, digital communication, economic systems, and political structures shape cultures and societies worldwide. It integrates sociological theory, cultural studies, global governance perspectives, and contemporary social research to prepare participants to critically analyze and contribute to evolving global social landscapes.


Study Level and Academic Framework

  • Study Level: Equivalent to EQF Level 7

  • European Framework: Equal to the Second European Cycle (Master Level)

  • ECTS: Equivalent to 60 ECTS

  • Duration: Minimum 12 months (Students benefit from academic flexibility and may extend the study period depending on research scope and professional commitments.)


Program Structure

The program consists of five academic modules, in addition to thesis and structured research activities:

  • 2 Research-Focused Modules Covering advanced research methodology, qualitative and quantitative social research methods, comparative cultural analysis, academic writing, and interdisciplinary research design.

  • 2 General Academic Modules Addressing globalization theory, international relations, social policy, governance systems, ethics, human rights, and sustainable development perspectives.

  • 1 Specialized Global Culture and Society Module Focused on cultural identity, migration studies, digital cultures, social change, diversity and inclusion, transnational networks, and global citizenship frameworks.

  • Thesis and Research Activities Participants conduct an independent research project contributing to global cultural analysis, policy development, social innovation strategies, intercultural dialogue, or societal transformation models.
