This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for graduates who seek advanced specialization in English Literature and Creative Writing at a level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second European cycle of European higher education. The program integrates rigorous literary scholarship with structured creative inquiry, enabling participants to develop both analytical depth and original creative expression within a research-oriented framework.

The curriculum is structured around five comprehensive modules. Two modules focus on advanced research methodologies, academic writing, research design, and scholarly communication. Two general modules strengthen interdisciplinary theoretical foundations, critical thinking, and analytical frameworks essential for high-level literary and creative research. One specialized module is dedicated to English Literature and Creative Writing, allowing participants to explore literary theory, narrative techniques, poetry, fiction, drama, genre studies, comparative literature, and contemporary creative practices.

The program culminates in the preparation of an original thesis and structured research activities that reflect the participant’s ability to conduct independent research and produce a substantial scholarly or practice-based contribution. Emphasis is placed on originality, critical engagement with literary traditions, theoretical application, stylistic innovation, and the development of a coherent and academically grounded manuscript.

With a minimum duration of 12 months and flexible extension options, the program accommodates both emerging scholars and working professionals. The academic workload is equal to 60 ECTS, reflecting a research-intensive academic experience consistent with European higher education standards.

This Master study program is ideal for individuals aiming to pursue doctoral research, academic careers, professional writing, publishing, cultural leadership, media production, or advanced roles in education and creative industries where analytical rigor and creative excellence are equally valued.
