  • 2 min read

This Master study program in Economics and Data Analytics is designed for learners who want to understand economic systems, market behavior, financial decision-making, and data-driven analysis through a fully research-based study structure. The program focuses on independent academic work, applied research, analytical thinking, and the use of data to support economic interpretation and evidence-based decision-making.

The program is 100% research based, which means that students mainly progress through guided academic reading, research tasks, written assignments, analytical projects, and thesis-related research activities rather than traditional classroom-based teaching. This approach is suitable for learners who prefer flexible, independent, and academically focused study.

The study level is equal to ISCED / EQF Level 7. ISCED stands for the International Standard Classification of Education, a global framework used by UNESCO to compare education levels internationally. EQF stands for the European Qualifications Framework, which helps compare qualifications across European education systems. Level 7 normally refers to advanced postgraduate-level study, equal to the second European cycle.

The program is equal to 60 ECTS and can be completed in +12 months. There is a minimum study duration, but students have flexibility to extend their study period according to their personal, professional, and research progress.

The program structure includes five modules: two research-related modules, two general academic and professional development modules, and one field-specific module in Economics and Data Analytics. In addition, students complete a thesis and research activities as part of the overall study requirements.

This Master study program is especially relevant for learners interested in economic research, data analytics, market analysis, policy evaluation, business intelligence, financial trends, quantitative decision-making, and applied economic studies. It supports the development of advanced research skills, critical analysis, data interpretation, and academic writing in the field of economics and analytics.
