This Master study program is a forward-looking, 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals and graduates who aim to shape the future of design, innovation systems, and creative strategy. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the Second European Cycle, the program emphasizes analytical depth, applied research, and strategic thinking in design-driven transformation.
The Master in Design and Innovation explores how creative methodologies, user-centered design, digital technologies, and innovation management intersect to generate sustainable value in business, public institutions, and society. Participants critically examine emerging design paradigms, innovation ecosystems, and strategic frameworks that support product, service, and organizational development in a rapidly evolving global environment.
With a total workload equivalent to 60 ECTS, the program is structured into five modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research design, methodology, and academic writing.
Two general modules that strengthen strategic, analytical, and interdisciplinary competencies.
One specialized module dedicated to the core field of Design and Innovation.
The program culminates in a thesis and structured research activities, enabling participants to develop original, evidence-based contributions to the field. Through independent investigation and critical reflection, learners demonstrate their ability to bridge theory and practice while addressing real-world innovation challenges.
The minimum duration of the program is +12 months. However, participants benefit from flexible study pathways, allowing them to extend their learning period according to professional and personal commitments.
