This Master study program in Cybersecurity and Digital Systems is a 100% research-based program designed for learners who want to develop advanced knowledge in digital security, cyber risk, information systems, secure digital infrastructure, and research methods connected to modern technology environments.

The program is suitable for students and professionals who want to understand how cybersecurity and digital systems are studied, analyzed, protected, improved, and evaluated in academic and professional contexts. It focuses on research, critical thinking, applied analysis, and independent academic work rather than traditional classroom-based learning only.

The study level is equal to ISCED / EQF Level 7. ISCED means the International Standard Classification of Education, a global framework used by UNESCO to classify education levels internationally. Level 7 usually refers to advanced Master-level study, where learners are expected to show specialized knowledge, independent thinking, research ability, and advanced problem-solving skills.

This Master study program is equal to the Second European Cycle and is structured to be equal to 60 ECTS. The curriculum includes five modules: two research-related modules, two general academic and professional development modules, and one specialized module in the field of Cybersecurity and Digital Systems. In addition, students complete a thesis and related research activities, allowing them to apply research methods to a topic connected to cybersecurity, digital systems, or secure technology management.

The duration is 12+ months. While there is a minimum study duration, students have flexibility to extend their study period according to their academic progress, research development, and personal schedule.

Overall, this Master study program supports learners who want to strengthen their understanding of cybersecurity challenges, digital transformation, secure systems, cyber governance, data protection, digital resilience, and research-based problem solving in a fast-changing technological world.
