This Master study program is a research-oriented academic pathway designed for graduates and professionals seeking to integrate advanced communication technologies with modern software engineering practices. Positioned at a level equivalent to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the Second European Cycle, the program emphasizes analytical expertise, innovation in digital systems, and research-driven development of scalable software and communication infrastructures.

Structured as a 100% research-based program, it develops advanced competencies in software architecture, networked systems, secure communication platforms, and intelligent application development. The academic framework consists of five comprehensive modules, including:

  • Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, quantitative and qualitative analysis, system modeling, experimental design, and academic writing in interdisciplinary computing environments.

  • Two general modules covering digital transformation, innovation management, technology governance, software project leadership, and ethics in information systems.

  • One specialized module in Computing and IT (Communications and Software), addressing areas such as distributed software systems, communication protocols, cloud-native application development, microservices architecture, cybersecurity in software environments, DevOps practices, IoT software integration, and AI-enhanced applications.

The program culminates in an independent research thesis and structured research activities, enabling participants to explore contemporary challenges such as real-time communication systems, scalable software platforms, intelligent network applications, secure cloud services, and next-generation digital ecosystems.

With a minimum duration of 12 months, the program offers flexibility for extension to accommodate professional commitments and research depth. The academic workload is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits, ensuring compatibility with European higher education standards.
