Structured as a 100% research-based program, it develops high-level competencies in network architecture, wireless communications, data transmission systems, cybersecurity in networks, and intelligent communication infrastructures. The academic framework consists of five comprehensive modules, including:

  • Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, quantitative analysis, network performance evaluation, experimental system design, and academic writing in computing and communications domains.

  • Two general modules covering digital transformation, innovation management, technology governance, information security principles, and strategic leadership in ICT environments.

  • One specialized module in Computing and IT (Communications and Networking), addressing areas such as advanced networking protocols, cloud and edge networking, 5G and emerging communication technologies, Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructures, network virtualization, distributed systems, and secure communication frameworks.

The program culminates in an independent research thesis and structured research activities, enabling participants to investigate contemporary challenges such as smart network optimization, secure data transmission, AI-driven network management, scalable communication architectures, and next-generation connectivity solutions.

With a minimum duration of 12 months, the program offers flexibility for extension to accommodate professional commitments and research depth. The academic workload is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits, ensuring compatibility with European higher education standards.
