The Master in Business and Management is a master study program designed for learners who want to develop advanced academic, analytical, and research-based understanding of modern business and management. This program is suitable for professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, and graduates who wish to strengthen their knowledge of business strategy, organizational leadership, management systems, and applied research in the business field.
This Master study program is 100% research based, which means that learning is strongly focused on independent study, academic reading, research development, critical analysis, and the preparation of a thesis. Instead of focusing only on taught classroom content, the program encourages students to explore real business questions, analyze management challenges, and produce structured academic work related to the field of business and management.
The study level is equal to ISCED / EQF Level 7. ISCED means the International Standard Classification of Education, a global framework used by UNESCO to compare education levels internationally. EQF means the European Qualifications Framework, which helps compare learning levels, skills, and qualifications across Europe. Level 7 is commonly linked to master-level learning, where students are expected to demonstrate advanced knowledge, critical thinking, research ability, and independent academic judgment.
The program is equal to 60 ECTS and belongs to the 2nd European cycle. It has a minimum duration of 12+ months, while students may have flexibility to extend the study program according to their academic progress, professional schedule, and personal circumstances.
The program includes 5 modules: two research-related modules, two general modules related to advanced business and management learning, and one specialized module focused on the study field. In addition, students complete a thesis and research activities. This structure helps learners build strong research skills while also developing a deeper understanding of business theory, management practice, organizational performance, and strategic decision-making.
Through this Master study program, students can explore topics such as strategic management, leadership, organizational behavior, international business, business development, innovation, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and applied management research. The thesis gives students the opportunity to examine a specific business or management issue in depth and present their findings in a clear academic format.
This program may support career development in management, business development, entrepreneurship, consulting, administration, project leadership, operations, international business, and further academic or professional research. It is especially useful for learners who want to connect business experience with structured academic research and advanced management thinking.
