100% Research-Based | EQF Level 7 | 60 ECTS | Second European Cycle
The Master in Blockchain Technology and Digital Assets is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare professionals for strategic leadership roles in decentralized technologies, digital finance ecosystems, and blockchain-driven innovation. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and awards 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced expertise in blockchain architecture, distributed ledger systems, smart contracts, tokenization models, digital asset governance, decentralized finance (DeFi), crypto-economics, regulatory frameworks, and cybersecurity in blockchain environments. Through a strong research orientation, students critically analyze emerging digital asset markets, Web3 ecosystems, regulatory compliance challenges, blockchain scalability solutions, and the economic implications of decentralized systems. The academic framework ensures that graduates can design secure, compliant, and innovative blockchain-based solutions across industries.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, quantitative and qualitative blockchain analysis, digital asset valuation, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic leadership, corporate governance, innovation management, and global digital environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on blockchain systems, smart contract development strategies, decentralized applications (DApps), digital asset management, and token economics.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), decentralized finance frameworks, NFT governance models, blockchain regulation, cross-border digital payments, or enterprise blockchain implementation strategies. The final research project demonstrates analytical depth, technical competence, and strategic insight in blockchain-driven digital ecosystems.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to professional commitments. This structure makes the program particularly suitable for fintech professionals, blockchain developers, digital asset managers, financial strategists, regulatory consultants, and innovation leaders seeking advanced academic qualifications while continuing their careers.
Graduates are prepared for senior roles in blockchain strategy, digital asset management, fintech innovation, decentralized platform governance, crypto compliance advisory, and global digital finance organizations.
