This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for graduates who wish to deepen their intellectual engagement with philosophical inquiry, critical analysis, and advanced theoretical reflection. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the Second European Cycle, the program represents a rigorous academic framework equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.
The Master in Arts and Humanities (Philosophy) is structured to cultivate high-level analytical thinking, methodological precision, and scholarly independence. Over a duration of +12 months (with a defined minimum period and the flexibility to extend), participants engage in an intensive academic journey that bridges classical philosophical traditions with contemporary debates in ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, political philosophy, and applied philosophy.
The program consists of five modules:
Two research-focused modules that strengthen academic writing, research design, methodological frameworks, and advanced scholarly analysis.
Two general modules that enhance interdisciplinary understanding, academic communication, and theoretical integration across the humanities.
One specialized module dedicated specifically to philosophy, allowing deeper exploration of philosophical theories, traditions, and critical discourse.
In addition to the structured modules, the program includes thesis and research activities that encourage independent investigation into a chosen philosophical topic. Students are expected to demonstrate originality, analytical rigor, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to academic and intellectual discussions within the field of philosophy.
This Master study program is particularly suited for educators, researchers, policy analysts, writers, and professionals in cultural, ethical, and public discourse fields who aim to refine their intellectual foundations and strengthen their academic research competencies at an advanced level.
