This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for graduates and professionals who seek advanced understanding of human societies, cultures, and social transformations across time and place. Positioned at a level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the Second European Cycle, the program emphasizes critical inquiry, methodological rigor, and interdisciplinary research within the field of anthropology.
The academic structure consists of five modules, including two research-focused modules, two general academic modules, and one specialized module dedicated to Anthropology, complemented by thesis and structured research activities. The program enables participants to explore cultural anthropology, social theory, ethnographic research methods, heritage studies, globalization processes, identity formation, migration dynamics, and socio-cultural change.
With a duration of +12 months (minimum duration, with flexible extension options), the program carries an academic workload equal to 60 ECTS credits. It is designed to strengthen analytical skills, qualitative and comparative research competence, and the ability to interpret cultural patterns within complex contemporary contexts.
Through in-depth research design and scholarly investigation, participants engage with issues such as intercultural dialogue, indigenous knowledge systems, digital cultures, urban anthropology, and the social impact of political and economic transformation. The research-driven approach equips graduates with the capacity to contribute to academic scholarship, cultural institutions, policy development, international organizations, and community-based initiatives.
