This Master study program is an advanced, research-driven academic pathway designed for professionals and researchers seeking to master agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and adaptive project leadership in dynamic organizational environments. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the second European cycle, the program provides a rigorous academic structure grounded entirely in research.
In today’s fast-changing digital and business landscape, organizations must respond rapidly to market shifts, technological disruption, and evolving customer expectations. Agile principles and Scrum practices have become central to innovation management, product development, IT governance, and cross-functional team leadership. This 100% research-based program equips participants with advanced theoretical frameworks and analytical tools to critically examine agile transformation models, team dynamics, sprint optimization, value delivery systems, and organizational agility strategies.
The program consists of five modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to research design, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, performance measurement, organizational analytics, and academic writing.
Two general modules that strengthen strategic leadership, change management, governance, and global business perspectives.
One specialized module in Agile and Scrum, addressing agile frameworks, Scrum roles and ceremonies, backlog prioritization, scaling agile practices, DevOps integration, risk management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
The program culminates in a thesis and comprehensive research activities aimed at generating an original contribution to the field of agile management and Scrum-based organizational systems.
With a duration of +12 months (minimum duration), participants benefit from academic flexibility, allowing them to extend their studies when needed. The academic workload is equivalent to 60 ECTS, ensuring alignment with European higher education standards.
