This Master study program is designed for professionals who seek advanced expertise in financial markets, with a strong focus on technical analysis and foreign exchange (Forex) trading. The program explores how market data, price movements, and trading patterns can be analyzed to support strategic decision-making in global financial environments. It emphasizes the use of analytical tools, charting techniques, and quantitative approaches to understand market behavior, manage risk, and identify trading opportunities across currencies and financial instruments.
This is a 100% research-based program, enabling participants to critically evaluate financial theories, trading models, and market dynamics while developing evidence-based strategies. The study level is equivalent to ISCED Level 7 and EQF Level 7. The International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) is a global framework used to classify education levels across countries, while the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) defines learning outcomes based on knowledge, skills, and competencies. Level 7 represents advanced, specialized knowledge and high-level analytical capabilities associated with master-level education.
The program is structured into five modules: two research-focused modules that enhance academic and analytical competencies, two general modules that provide essential management and financial knowledge, and one specialized module dedicated to technical analysis and Forex markets. These are complemented by thesis and research activities, allowing participants to apply theoretical frameworks to real-world financial market scenarios.
The duration of the program is a minimum of 12 months, with flexibility for participants to extend their study period based on their professional and personal commitments. The program carries 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), aligning it with the second cycle of higher education in Europe.
