With a minimum duration of +18 months, the program offers flexibility for candidates who wish to extend their research period in line with the depth and scope of their scientific investigation. It is structured to support experienced professionals and researchers seeking to generate impactful knowledge in climate-resilient agriculture, controlled-environment farming, and advanced agri-technologies.

The academic framework consists of seven modules, carefully designed to integrate rigorous research preparation with field-specific specialization:

  • Four research-related modules focusing on advanced research methodology, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, scientific publishing, innovation strategy, and research design in sustainable agricultural systems.

  • Two general modules addressing global sustainability frameworks, environmental governance, agri-business transformation, and strategic leadership in food production ecosystems.

  • One specialized module dedicated to Modern and Vertical Farming, covering hydroponics, aeroponics, aquaponics, smart greenhouse technologies, AI and IoT integration in agriculture, energy-efficient systems, water optimization, and urban farming infrastructure.

The program culminates in comprehensive thesis and research activities, enabling candidates to produce original, high-impact research that contributes to technological advancement, food security strategies, and sustainable agricultural innovation worldwide.
