This doctorate study program is designed for senior professionals, executives, consultants, and academic researchers who seek to generate original knowledge and strategic innovation within the global luxury brand industry. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 8 and aligned with the third cycle of the European Higher Education Area, the program represents the highest level of academic specialization in luxury brand marketing and executive management.

Luxury brands operate in a complex global ecosystem shaped by exclusivity, symbolic value, heritage, innovation, and evolving high-net-worth consumer expectations. In sectors such as haute couture, fine jewelry, premium cosmetics, luxury automotive, watches, and lifestyle conglomerates, sustained success depends on sophisticated brand governance, experiential marketing, strategic positioning, and long-term value creation. This doctorate study program prepares participants to critically examine and redefine these dimensions through rigorous, research-driven inquiry.

The structure of the program includes seven advanced modules, carefully designed to integrate research excellence with sector-specific expertise:

  • Four research-focused modules covering advanced quantitative and qualitative methodologies, theoretical modeling in luxury studies, academic publication strategies, strategic analytics, and evidence-based decision-making frameworks.

  • Two general modules strengthening global strategic leadership, innovation management, financial strategy, corporate governance, and sustainability integration within multinational luxury enterprises.

  • One specialized module dedicated specifically to marketing and management for luxury brands, addressing brand architecture, premium pricing strategies, experiential value creation, digital luxury ecosystems, omnichannel strategy, ESG alignment, global expansion, and long-term brand equity development.

The program culminates in a substantial thesis and structured research activities, enabling participants to produce original scholarly or applied contributions that advance theory and practice within the luxury brand domain.

Delivered in a 100% research-based format, the program emphasizes independent investigation, analytical depth, and strategic innovation. Participants explore critical themes such as luxury consumer behavior, symbolic capital and brand identity, digital transformation in high-end markets, global brand resilience, sustainable luxury models, reputation management, and competitive strategy in exclusive sectors.

With a duration of +18 months, the program offers a structured yet flexible pathway tailored to experienced professionals. While a minimum study period applies, participants may extend their studies to align with executive responsibilities, international engagements, or deeper research ambitions.

This doctorate study program is ideal for leaders in global luxury houses, premium retail conglomerates, brand strategists, policy advisors in creative industries, and academic scholars aiming to influence the future direction of luxury markets. By combining rigorous research methodology with advanced sector specialization, the program prepares participants to shape strategic decisions at the highest executive and scholarly levels.

Through advanced research and strategic analysis, graduates are equipped to redefine competitive advantage, strengthen global brand prestige, and contribute sustainable, research-based solutions to one of the world’s most exclusive and high-value industries.
