This doctorate study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for advanced scholars and accomplished writers who seek the highest level of specialization in English Literature and Creative Writing. Positioned at a level equal to EQF Level 8 and aligned with the third European cycle, the program supports the production of original, intellectually rigorous research and innovative creative work grounded in strong theoretical foundations.

The structure of the program includes seven comprehensive modules. Four modules are dedicated to advanced research competencies, including research philosophy, methodological design, qualitative and textual analysis, scholarly writing for international publication, and critical research evaluation. Two general modules strengthen interdisciplinary theoretical frameworks, academic leadership, and advanced analytical perspectives. One specialized module focuses specifically on English Literature and Creative Writing, enabling in-depth exploration of literary theory, comparative literature, narrative studies, genre theory, poetry and fiction craft, postcolonial and cultural studies, and practice-based research methodologies.

Participants engage in structured research activities culminating in the development of an original doctoral-level thesis or a research-informed creative project supported by critical analysis. Emphasis is placed on intellectual independence, theoretical innovation, creative originality, methodological rigor, and the ability to produce scholarly or practice-based work suitable for international academic and professional recognition.

The minimum duration of the program is 18 months, with flexibility for extension according to the scope of research and individual academic progression. The program is designed for academics, researchers, professional writers, educators, and cultural practitioners aiming to contribute significantly to literary scholarship, creative industries, and global cultural discourse.
