Doctorate in Cyber Security Administration

This doctorate study program is an advanced, fully research-based academic pathway designed for senior professionals, cybersecurity strategists, policy advisors, and researchers who aim to operate at the highest level of digital governance and cyber defense leadership. Positioned at a level equivalent to EQF Level 8 and aligned with the third European cycle, the program focuses on producing original research that contributes to the evolution of cybersecurity policy, institutional resilience, and global digital security frameworks.

Structured around rigorous academic inquiry, the program consists of seven modules, including:

  • Four research-intensive modules dedicated to advanced research design, quantitative and qualitative cybersecurity methodologies, cyber risk modeling, data analytics, scientific publishing standards, and research ethics in digital environments.

  • Two general modules that strengthen theoretical depth in global governance, regulatory systems, digital transformation strategies, organizational leadership, and institutional accountability in technology-driven ecosystems.

  • One specialized module in Cyber Security Administration, focusing on cyber risk governance, critical infrastructure protection, digital sovereignty, cloud and enterprise security frameworks, AI-driven threat intelligence, compliance architecture, and strategic incident response management.

The program culminates in a substantial doctoral thesis and structured research activities addressing complex contemporary challenges such as cyber warfare strategies, cross-border data governance, regulatory harmonization, advanced cybercrime prevention models, resilience of financial and governmental systems, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity management.

With a minimum duration of 18 months, the program provides academic flexibility, allowing candidates to extend their study period in accordance with the depth and scope of their research. It is particularly suited for chief information security officers (CISOs), cybersecurity directors, digital policy consultants, regulatory advisors, IT governance leaders, and academics seeking to influence cybersecurity frameworks at national and international levels.
