This doctorate study program is an advanced, 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals, researchers, innovators, and academic leaders seeking to contribute to the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) within complex, real-world environments. Positioned at a study level equal to EQF Level 8 and aligned with the third European cycle, the program emphasizes interdisciplinary research, analytical depth, and high-level academic output.

The Doctorate in Combined STEM is structured to support innovative research that bridges scientific theory and technological application. It is particularly suitable for professionals working in areas such as advanced engineering systems, data science, artificial intelligence, smart infrastructure, environmental technologies, applied mathematics, robotics, digital transformation, and sustainable innovation. The program encourages the integration of multiple STEM disciplines to address global challenges through evidence-based research and methodological rigor.

The curriculum consists of seven modules, including:

  • Four research-focused modules covering advanced research design, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, interdisciplinary integration frameworks, and academic publishing strategies.

  • Two general modules designed to strengthen strategic thinking, innovation management, and ethical considerations in scientific research.

  • One specialized module dedicated to the Combined STEM field, supporting interdisciplinary synthesis and advanced subject-matter exploration.

In addition, participants complete an original research thesis and engage in structured research activities aimed at producing academically and professionally impactful outcomes.

With a minimum duration of 18+ months, the program offers flexibility for experienced professionals who wish to balance research with leadership or industry commitments. Candidates are encouraged to develop original contributions that demonstrate critical thinking, scientific innovation, and applied technological insight across combined STEM domains.

Graduates of this doctorate study program are prepared to contribute to academic research, advanced industry innovation, policy advisory roles, technological entrepreneurship, and executive-level STEM leadership.
