Executive Bachelor Study Program in Media and Communication Management

This bachelor study program is a professionally structured academic pathway designed to develop strong competencies in media strategy, corporate communication, digital content management, and public relations within modern communication environments. It is aligned with EQF Level 6 and corresponds to the First European Cycle, with a total academic workload equivalent to 60 ECTS.

The program is designed for individuals who aim to manage media organizations, lead communication departments, develop brand narratives, and oversee digital communication strategies in both corporate and public sectors.

The academic journey begins with a foundational module introducing students to online education systems and digital learning environments, ensuring readiness for flexible and technology-driven study. A dedicated module on the basics of Artificial Intelligence explores how AI tools are transforming media analytics, audience targeting, content personalization, social listening, automated content creation, and digital campaign optimization.

To strengthen analytical and academic capabilities, the curriculum includes an Introduction to Research Methods, enabling students to conduct media research, analyze communication trends, measure audience engagement, and apply evidence-based communication strategies.

Two general modules related to the study field provide essential foundations in management principles, marketing communication, organizational behavior, branding, and strategic planning.

The specialization component consists of three focused modules in Media and Communication Management, covering areas such as strategic communication planning, media production management, digital media platforms, crisis communication, public relations strategy, content development, reputation management, and global communication trends. Emphasis is placed on real-world case studies, media campaign design, stakeholder communication, and performance measurement.

The academic pathway concludes with a Bachelor Project and structured research activities, where students apply communication theories and management tools to design or evaluate a real media or communication strategy, demonstrating integration of creativity, analytics, and strategic leadership.

The standard duration is 12+ months, with a defined minimum study period. However, the program offers flexibility, allowing students to extend their studies based on professional or personal commitments.

This executive-format bachelor study program is particularly suitable for communication officers, media professionals, content managers, entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking structured academic advancement while continuing their careers. It emphasizes strategic messaging, digital innovation, brand positioning, audience engagement, and research-driven communication performance.
