This bachelor study program is designed for learners who want to build a strong and modern foundation in global hospitality business with an international and practice-oriented perspective. It is suitable for those who are interested in hospitality operations, service excellence, customer experience, tourism-related business environments, and the management of hospitality organizations in a fast-changing global market. The program combines academic structure with flexible learning, making it relevant for both new learners and working professionals who wish to strengthen their knowledge while continuing their personal or professional commitments.

The study level is comparable to ISCED level 6 and EQF level 6. ISCED means the International Standard Classification of Education, which is an international framework used to classify education levels across countries. EQF means the European Qualifications Framework, which helps compare qualifications within Europe through common reference levels. At this stage, learners are expected to develop advanced knowledge, practical understanding, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to apply concepts in real professional contexts. The program is also positioned as equal to the 1st European cycle.

This bachelor study program is structured to provide both academic fundamentals and field-specific knowledge. It includes one module on introduction to online education, helping learners understand digital learning environments, academic engagement, and effective study methods in flexible education systems. It also includes one module on the basics of artificial intelligence, giving students an introductory understanding of how AI is influencing business, service systems, communication, and decision-making in modern hospitality environments. In addition, one module on research methods supports students in developing analytical thinking, academic inquiry, and the ability to approach business and hospitality questions in a structured and evidence-informed way.

The program also includes two general modules related to the study field, which help learners strengthen their understanding of the wider business and hospitality environment, including management principles, service quality, communication, organization, and operational thinking. Alongside this, students complete three specialized modules in the field of global hospitality business, allowing them to focus more directly on hospitality management, international service culture, guest relations, operational standards, and business development within the hospitality sector.

An important part of the learning journey is the bachelor project and research activities, which encourage students to connect theory with practice and to explore a topic related to hospitality business in a more focused and academic way. This helps learners build confidence in analysis, structured writing, professional reflection, and applied business understanding.

The duration of the program is 12 months or more. There is a minimum study duration, but students have the flexibility to extend the study period based on their personal schedule and learning pace. This structure supports accessibility and makes the program especially suitable for learners who value flexible progression. The workload is equal to 60 ECTS, reflecting a focused higher education study volume within the framework of the first European cycle.

Overall, this bachelor study program is intended to support learners in developing the knowledge, skills, and academic maturity needed for professional growth in hospitality business and related sectors. It offers a balanced combination of digital readiness, academic method, modern business awareness, and hospitality specialization in an internationally relevant field.
