This bachelor study program is a professionally structured academic pathway designed to develop strong competencies in engineering project planning, technical coordination, resource management, and strategic execution within engineering environments. It is aligned with EQF Level 6 and corresponds to the First European Cycle, with a total academic workload equivalent to 60 ECTS.
The program is designed for learners who aim to combine engineering knowledge with advanced project management skills in order to successfully lead technical projects in construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors.
The academic journey begins with a foundational module introducing students to online education systems and digital learning environments, ensuring readiness for flexible, technology-driven study. A dedicated module on the basics of Artificial Intelligence explores how AI tools are transforming engineering project planning, predictive maintenance, risk forecasting, scheduling optimization, and operational efficiency.
To strengthen analytical and academic capabilities, the curriculum includes an Introduction to Research Methods, enabling students to conduct feasibility studies, technical analysis, project evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making within engineering contexts.
Two general modules related to the field provide essential foundations in management principles, engineering economics, organizational behavior, and business communication within technical environments.
The specialization component consists of three focused modules in Engineering Project Management, covering areas such as project lifecycle management, cost estimation and budgeting, contract management, quality assurance, safety standards, risk control, procurement processes, scheduling techniques, and performance monitoring. Emphasis is placed on practical tools, technical documentation, engineering case studies, and structured execution strategies.
The academic pathway concludes with a Bachelor Project and structured research activities, where students apply theoretical knowledge and project management methodologies to solve a real engineering-related challenge, demonstrating integration of technical understanding and managerial competence.
The standard duration is 12+ months, with a defined minimum study period. However, the program offers flexibility, allowing students to extend their studies based on professional or personal commitments.
This executive-format bachelor study program is particularly suitable for engineers, project coordinators, technical supervisors, and professionals working in engineering-driven industries who seek structured academic development while continuing their careers. It emphasizes technical leadership, operational precision, risk management, digital transformation, and research-driven engineering solutions.
