The Master in Wealth Management and Private Banking is an advanced postgraduate program designed to prepare professionals for strategic roles in high-net-worth client advisory, investment strategy, and global financial asset management. Fully research-based and academically aligned with EQF Level 7, the program is equivalent to the Second Cycle of European Higher Education and carries 60 ECTS credits.
This program develops advanced competencies in portfolio management, private banking services, financial planning, risk assessment, and global wealth structuring. Through a strong research orientation, students critically analyze international financial markets, asset allocation strategies, regulatory environments, and sustainable wealth preservation models. The emphasis on academic research ensures that graduates can make evidence-based financial decisions in complex and evolving economic landscapes.
The academic structure consists of five core modules:
Two research-focused modules dedicated to advanced research methodology, quantitative financial analysis, wealth data interpretation, and academic writing.
Two general management modules covering strategic management, corporate governance, and global business environments.
One specialization module focused specifically on wealth management strategies, private banking operations, investment advisory, and financial risk management.
The program culminates in a master’s thesis and structured research activities, enabling students to conduct independent research on contemporary topics such as multi-asset portfolio strategies, cross-border wealth planning, family office structures, private equity advisory, or sustainable investment models. The final research project demonstrates analytical rigor, strategic financial insight, and professional advisory competence.
The minimum duration is 12 months, with flexibility to extend the study period according to individual professional needs. The structure is particularly suitable for finance professionals seeking advanced academic credentials while continuing their careers.
Graduates are prepared for senior roles in private banking, wealth advisory, asset management, family offices, investment consulting, financial institutions, and global financial services firms.
