This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for graduates, architects, designers, historians, and cultural researchers who wish to explore the intellectual, aesthetic, and historical foundations of Islamic Art and Architecture. Structured at a level equal to EQF Level 7, and aligned with the second European cycle, the program carries an academic workload equal to 60 ECTS.
The program provides an advanced scholarly framework for analyzing Islamic artistic traditions, architectural heritage, urban design principles, geometric patterns, calligraphy, sacred spaces, conservation practices, and contemporary interpretations of Islamic visual culture. Two research-related modules focusing on advanced research methodology, academic writing, historiography, visual analysis, and research design in art and architectural studies.

One specialized module in Islamic Art and Architecture, addressing core themes such as mosque architecture, Islamic urban planning, decorative arts, geometric design systems, material culture, and restoration principles.
