In a rapidly evolving global economy characterized by cross-border transactions, digital taxation challenges, regulatory reforms, and fiscal sustainability pressures, taxation policy has become a cornerstone of economic stability and national development. This program is structured to develop high-level research expertise in tax system design, fiscal reform evaluation, international tax coordination, corporate taxation strategies, transfer pricing frameworks, and regulatory compliance architecture.

The academic structure consists of seven modules, including:

  • Two general modules, providing strategic perspectives in governance theory, public finance systems, economic regulation, and institutional risk management.

  • One specialized module in Taxation Policy and Management, addressing national and international tax regimes, global tax harmonization debates, digital economy taxation, tax administration efficiency, and sustainable revenue strategies.

The program culminates in independent thesis and research activities, enabling participants to produce original scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in taxation reform, fiscal sustainability, and public revenue governance.

The standard duration is +18 months (minimum duration applies), with flexibility for extension to accommodate professional, governmental, or research commitments. The research-driven structure makes this program particularly suitable for senior tax consultants, directors of tax policy, public finance executives, regulatory advisors, corporate tax strategists, and professionals operating within governmental or international fiscal institutions.

This doctorate study program is designed to prepare participants for leadership, policy advisory, and academic roles within tax authorities, ministries of finance, international organizations, multinational corporations, and fiscal research institutions.
