This Master study program is a 100% research-based academic pathway designed for professionals, agronomists, environmental specialists, and researchers seeking advanced expertise in sustainable food systems and environmentally responsible agricultural practices. Positioned at a level equal to EQF Level 7 and aligned with the Second European Cycle, the program emphasizes scientific inquiry, innovation, and evidence-based strategies for sustainable land and resource management.
The academic structure consists of five modules, including two research-focused modules, two general academic modules, and one specialized module dedicated to Sustainable Agriculture, complemented by thesis and structured research activities. The curriculum enables participants to explore agroecology, soil science, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable crop production, water resource management, biodiversity conservation, agricultural policy, and food security systems.
With a duration of +12 months (minimum duration, with flexible extension options), the program carries an academic workload equal to 60 ECTS credits. It is designed to strengthen research competencies, analytical thinking, and practical application of sustainable technologies in agricultural systems.
Through research-driven learning, participants engage with critical global challenges such as climate change adaptation, regenerative farming practices, sustainable supply chains, rural development, organic agriculture, and the integration of innovation in agricultural productivity.
